you are suffering a life threatening or severe injury or illness go to your nearest Accident and emergency department or dial 999.

If you need a doctor in an emergency and the surgery is closed telephone the usual surgery number (01675 442510), and the answer phone will tell you how to contact a doctor. (Surgery opening times are detailed on the opening times page in the about us section of this website)
The NHS 111 service is available to deal with emergency and non emergency queries. They can be contacted by dialling 111.
The Urgent Primary Care service based at Solihull Hospital will provide an urgent ‘see and treat’ service for patients with minor illnesses. This service will be for patients without a prior booked appointment. Patients will need to report to the Urgent Primary Care reception located next to the existing Minor Injuries Unit.
Patients are advised to call 111 before attending any urgent care services as alternative services are available and more are coming on line in November. These include the options to direct patients directly to a pharmacist or to speak to a dental nurse for example.
Children who appear very unwell or need urgent treatment for a serious illness or injury should be taken to Heartlands Hospital A&E rather than Solihull Hospital.
