Both the Practice Nurses are well trained in the management of asthma, including childhoods asthma. Apart from visits to the Doctor when you have a particular problem, we encourage all asthmatics to attend their asthma review on a regular basis. Research shows that hospital admissions, time off work and deaths from asthma are considerable reduced when asthmatics are regular attenders at their asthma review appointments. The nurse will keep the Practice Doctors informed and bring any problems to their attention. Please make the effort to come when you are invited - we think you will find it worthwhile!
